And this is my journey.
This blog will be a collection of my thoughts and memories, charting the passage of time as I become. For now it's enough to say hello world and leave this day with this thought...
It's a volatile time right now. The UK government, (such as it is after an general election that delivered a hung parliament) is in turmoil, in Europe the Euro is faltering, Greece is on the brink of collapse, the financial markets are unstable and it seems like Mother Nature is fighting back with a vengeance (oh the inconvenience of the Ash cloud!!!)
This could be a time of doom and gloom. However I think that this time of challenge is the perfect ground for change.
The world is changing. I am evolving. I am starting to articulate and develop my ideas. Now is the time for me to emerge as an artist. And I want to share and discuss my ideas with other like minded individuals. This is my first blog. Hopefully one of many. So as a starting point, I want to share this post I received...

I find it interesting that this Dance UK campaign to place dance at the centre of the political arena can hardly make a dent in the tabloids yet can make headline news in the New York Times... I wonder to myself, why haven't the UK papers picked up on it? And how do I feel about Dance Vote 2010? What does this campaign mean for me and my current artistic practice? These are the thoughts that are going through my mind at this moment.
It's something to consider.
